Windward was just fine.

She had extra stands chained together, sails and canvas off and anything loose tied down or removed.

Fortunately, the eye stayed sufficiently off the coast so that we did not experience very heavy winds.

It was a busy morning though – cutting and fitting steel shutters for the doors and windows. And today, taking them down and numbering them so that they can be put up quickly next time.

Hurricane Nicole that was following Matthew has wandered off South into the ocean and is unlikely to cause any coastal impacts.
