Day off! – visit to the Everglades

We took part of the day off from boat work and drove out over the flat Florida landscape to the nearest entrance to the Everglades.

The ride on the fan boat was great fun.

Interesting factoid – the Everglades is the only place in the world where Alligators and Crocodiles co-habit.
