After a gentle wander down through shallow waters we arrived at the delightfully quiet Black Point anchorage.
Our Rocna anchor dug in deep and true and we were safe and stable through several swings in wind direction.
The people at Black Point make their living off island, mostly at the upmarket Staniel Cay, which they commute to by boat on a daily basis.
There is some small commerce in small grocery shops and some hopeful grass weaving of baskets etc.
The people here were so friendly and laid back – it seemed like the real start of the island culture.
We had some great walks on the island.
and of course another amazing sunset …
All good things come to an end – we sail off to Little Farmers Cay – passing out through a cut into the Atlantic to go down the outside.
