Crossing to Martinique

We headed off in the early morning with predicted winds of 14-19 knots and a moderate swell.

We had winds varying from 2 to 30 knots and some very big waves. Windward enjoyed herself and we had a good sail at mainly 6-7 knots on a reach to close reach.

The volcano of Mount Pelee put in a distinctive appearance as we closed land.
