It was very pleasant to revisit St. Pierre. It was fairly quiet.

and we got in some good walks, including the stations of the cross up to the statue of Mary of the Mariners on the hill above the anchorage.

It was fun to visit the local zoo, which had really nice facilities for the wildlife that seemed very well cared for ( I am not a fan of zoos, I think that their time has gone.)

As we left, we were treated to the VERY unusual sight of Mont Pele without a covering of cloud.
