Now this is how the other half of the Cruising Community live. We are now the proud owners of a washing machine.

It is made of two plastic paint buckets. The inner one has holes drilled through it.

A plunger is put through the lid and is used to agitate the washing inside.

There is even an optional spin dry cycle whereby you put the wet washing in the bucket with holes and suspend it with a rope which you wind up and let go to spin the water out.

Works a treat for modest loads but you do need a cold chibuli after a washing session.
