Jardin was probably our favourite place to visit on this trip.

We stayed in a relaxed hostal with a garden to relax in.

We had two walks. The first was up to the Cave of Splendour. We took a tuk-tuk out along the mountainside and up to the ridge, allowing us a pleasant 6 mile walk in to the reserve and a further 4 miles on to the Cave.

The second walk was a long meander around the opposite side of the valley, taking in the sights and enjoying the abundant birdlife.

Strolling around the friendly and laid back town was very pleasurable.

We even spotted two Lady Cabbaleros strutting their horses whilst at dinner one evening.
