These were two unremarkable but convenient stops along the coast to Colon.

There were the remains of a fortification at Portobello, much of which had been dismantled to provide bulk for the breakwater at Colon. A black Jesus graced the local church. A few industrious Chinese provided good provisioning and hardware.
